Despite gloomy reports about no fish spawning, today was the first chance to walk along the bank and see what the floods have brought down. We were suprised to see how many dead kelts, probably all male were on the bank at Gromain and how big they were. Where were these big fish in the fishing season?

Well there you go then.  Be nice to have seen a picture of all these spawned out fish woldn't it. Anyone else seen one or better still anyone seen any redds of any significance.  Can,t find any myself.   Do WUF have any information regarding the success or otherwise of the spawning season?   We might never know.

NRW certainly don't have any -no one to do it anymore, much like everything else.
