Late report of a fish from Wyesham to Gordon Richards on fly  15lbs.

Hot weather arrived at least for today and you can bet the river will look like Disneyland with every sun worshipper on it, in it or beside it.
My last nights evening fish was completely destroyed  by a family group of six adults, assorted kids and a dog together with canoes on the river, swimming too.  This was above HAY at 6pm with a so called canoe agreement to be off fhe water by 4pm.  Some altercation but they somewhat sobered up when I showed them the photo of Hay sewage works pumping out its raw sewage into the river.(Yes I know its below where they were swimming but it had the desired effect.)
No doubt many of you will suffer the same fate over this weekend or perhaps not bother to go at all.

Report of a fish from Bigswier today.  Only the second this month so far.  Not sure that's ever happened before.
Quite where the run of fish reported recently on upper beats has gone to I have no idea,
River dropping away now on upper beats.
