Well its prime springer time, good conditions, nice weather, bank holidays and anglers everywhere if yesterday is anything to go by.  The result?   One fish from Wyesham from 60 miles of fishable river at least.  Recent report too regarding the Usk last season which seems to have been the worst ever with just 130 fish reported.

LATEST
10 lb fresh fish reported from Courtfield yesterday to John Pauli
Does look as though a few early 2sw fish are coming in.
Still only two fish from Bigswier but nothing seen today on a big tide.

Remember this is after the millions that have been spent on both rivers and all the current WUF director seems to think about is supposed climate change and his ideas on how to combat it.

At least this will be one problem he and no amount of money is going to solve unlike all his other projects which have been a 'success'  Yea right.   Give me a climate change grant and leave it to me will be the cry!!!!
Below are his suggestions as to what you can do to help. Would have got locked up years ago for rabid talk like this.  Get real.  Climate change is what it's always been with ups and downs.
Plastics and pollution that's the real problem.
Off to get a chub for lunch now -perhaps the Poles had it right all along.  Is that racist?  So be it.

Simon,s guide to help solve climate change; he forgot the sackcloth and sandals. God help us!

Easy options to do your bit..and we need to as it was our industrial revolution that started the whole thing
1) switch to renewable energy
2) eat less meat espcially beef and sheep
3) dont fly
4) use zoom/skpe rather than driving to meetings
5) if you have investments/pension get it into a sustainable fund eg Liontrust sustainable
6) By in-season local veg
7) support WUF's work with farmers which as well as keeping soil in the fields rather than in the rivers is sequestering large amunts of CO2

and if you can get an electric car and heat the house with a heat exchange, you can

Get your emissions down to less than 10% of the current UK

Climate change -the facts   another opinion

The increasingly unwatchable and slavishly woke BBC plumbed new depths last night. It gave a prime time slot to a piece of environmental propaganda so blatant, shameless, and dishonest it might just as well have been a political broadcast on behalf of Extinction Rebellion.

Even the programme’s title was a lie.
Climate Change: The Facts was a farrago of alarmist cliches, exaggerations, and untruths which have been debunked on numerous occasions.
