Good conditions for lower beats with a fine weekend forecast.  River dropping away now so access for any newfish to the upstream beats seem unlikely to say the least.  Wouldn't fancy my chances much above Hay on Wye but there is always a chance of an odd fish lurking somewhere- probably the Rectory. Yes I am being sarcastic but what the hell.  Too much money being wasted by anglers on beats with poor catch records with catch per angler visit through the roof.  Still if that's what floats you boat.


Just that one fish reported yesterday so far at least.
