Sme rain this morning but nothing likely to affect the river which continues to fall. 

No fish reported yesterday though 'several' were seen at the Rectory apparently - no surprise there then!       Should be one or two today from somewhere hopefully.


Some of you may have watched the boat race yesterday.  There was an ex rower interviewed who is now involved in environmental matters with a desire to clean up the Thames as he put it.  He hopes to update the Victorian sewer system which he stated now spews 'thousand' of tons of untreated sewage into the Thames each year.  Environment Agency/NRW all a bit third world at the end of the day.
