Some significant rain last night in the upper catchment with the main stem at Rhayader up considerably, likewise the Irfon at Builth Wells, dirty and still rising.  Most other areas not affected yet but will rise during the day.  Will it be enough to encourage fish into the river and move them througout the river, assuming there are many still to come. Should be some grilse hopefully but we shall have to wait and see..
Perhaps the seige has been lifted at last..

Rise upstream about 18".  starting to fall now but very coloured.  Not much water from the Ithon though.  Lower beats should see a lift tomorrow.
