No more water with the small rise now running off quickly from the upstream beats. Certainly not enough to do much good.  We have to look to the lower river still for any fish.

10:57 amFollowing last night's rain, there is a good push of fresh water coming down the upper reaches of both rivers. Salmon and trout fishing has been re-opened on most middle/lower Wye and Usk Passport beats.

A good push???   Would want to miss a trick would we. Bit premature perhaps.
