Report of a possible 15lb fish from Whitney -yet to be confirmed however.

If that's it for the last couple of days then take a step back in amazement.  Good water on the upper river, plenty of rods out, nothing seen as far as I know never mind anything caught.  Too early yet to consider a disaster and the river will probably spring into life today with warmer temperatures and more fish friendly conditions.

Plenty of fly life and rising trout for those not after salmon.
