BEAVERS.

Anglers in the Erwood area who fish particularly on the  tributaries in this area are asked to keep an eye open for signs of beavers.  It is an indisputable fact that a female beaver was found on one of the local tributaries recently.. It weighed 34lbs and amazingly it was a pregnant female, which means of course there must be others or at least one male..    Local wildlife Organisations deny any knowledge of beaver introduction and when contacted Radnor Wildlife Trust confirmed that they too had heard  a rumour of this, now dead, beaver.   It's not a rumour I can confirm it is a Fact.   Photograph may be available soon.

Looks like some illegal monkey business is going on-m similar to the otter introductions of some years ago.
