River falling away too quickly for my liking but more rain is forecast overnight. Still a heavy colour of course but not much of the Ithon water in this time.   Wouldn't expect much to have reached the upper river yet as accepted knowledge suggests the fish don't run in heavy colour but rather  as the water clears and falls away, so we really need levels to hold up.

However.  Miracles do happen.  WUF report a fresh 8lb 'springer' from Goodrich yesterday on a yellow flying C by Jeremy Brown.   Amazing the stuff they know isn't it.
