All rivers on the up again following last nights rain and  today's really heavy showers in the upper catchment.  Shows no sign of settling down either this week.

Another nice springer from the Hampshire Avon.  Black and yellow aluminium tube.perhaps we shall get one soon.

​S&TC(S) responds to the BBC for biased reporting on salmon farms.

​Smolt Conference
S&TC is one of the sponsors of the Atlantic Salmon Trust and Tweed Foundation’s Smolt Conference, From Headwater to Headland, to be held in Berwick upon Tweed on March 14th and 15th.  There are still some places for this important event, which covers an often-neglected part of the salmon life cycle – the outward migration of smolts down river to the sea.  There are also places available at the conference dinner on the Tuesday evening.  You would be very welcome to attend if you are able to.  All the necessary information and booking details can be found at:
