Today's fish so far.  A few more 2sw fish.   A little rise on the upper river following last nights rain but it remains fairly clear.

Cadora Backs: 12lb fish today on a mepps. Maurice Hudson
 Wyesham: 9lbs to Mike Timmis
Ingeston: 13lbs to Lyn Cobley yesterday.

Latest.
Report of a fly caught fish on Monday from Winforton. A 10/12lb caught by James Griffiths.Pic. expected.

Combat fishing.  British Columbia?  No resident beavers either.

No its the Wye below Glasbury today. Any volunteers for some habitat work!!!!!   Thought not.

As you can see the river piles into this bank with any water on. Its close to where a child was drowned a few years ago. Anyone not under control of their canoe and gets washed into this lot is in serious trouble.

GREEN PAPER
Latest word of the Access issue in Wales.  When the Minister was asked what the present situation was he replied,
"I am considering the best way forward and will continue to encourage Voluntary Access Agreements to the benefit of both anglers and canoeists"

Seems he may have had his wings clipped a bit.  Not sure how VVAAs will befit anglers though.
