Nothing reported caught yesterday.  It really looks now as though its not going to happen this month. Many rods were out yesterday up and down the river and so far no reports.
There was a big fish hooked, on the fly, at Winforton last Thurday by long time rod Don Griffiths who played the fish for a long time only to lose at right at the net. Fish was clearly well over twenty pounds and gave a great scrap..
Almost the best scenario these days it seems to me rather than the business of netting , hook removal and return..  An NO you can't record it as a fish WUF.

Remains to be seen what today brings but to be perfectly franks its looking pretty dismal unless new fish, in numbers, arrive soon.
