River was looking good around Hay yesterday but dropping away now.

Still amazed by the number of canoeists at £30 or so a canoe.  Be good wouldn't it if the operators at least paid something for the upkeep of the river they enjoy using for free, unlike ourselves.  Could make a big difference.

Someone asked me the other day what happened to the Wye Conservators.   Good question - does anyone know. Website seems not to have been updated since 2018    Do they still exist and if so what exactly do they do????  Answers of a postage stamp..
