Well the water release went ahead and so far it had a little effect on beats above Glasbury but now seem to have run out of steam and not really discernable at Hay on Wye or Bredwardine. Lower beats will see non of it in terms of a rise in level or cooler water in my opinion.
Keep everything crossed heat does not build up too high !!!!!!
Builth was 931 mm before, currently 1024
mm so a massive plug of 93 mm.
Erwood was 393 mm before ,currently 648
mm river is narrower here so 255 mm extra
Glasbury was 430 mm before now 520
mm so 90 mm extra and by Hay it is non existent.
Redbrook rose during the night (no extraction)
to 141 mm but has fallen back to 91 mm now.
That is 3.5 inches in old money from being off
the bloody gauge. the pumping takes half of that
