Thankfully things have cooled  down somewhat though still pretty much on the high side.

At 7.00 am this morning at Redbrook air temperature was 21.2 with the water temperature still at 23.7.

Signs of green algae yesterday and river still in a state of fluctiation.

Talk of light rain perhaps but no sign of a real wet spell as far ahead as met office can see it seems.

Seriously is anyone really thinking of salmon fishing at the moment???????????????????
