I suspect there were a lot of anglers out on the lower river at least but no reports of any catches so far.

Conditions remain pretty hopeless on the upper river and much of the middle river too.

New study on FEBs taking place it seems.  More procrastination, more surveys, more evidence gathering, and more meeting including with the RSPB.   Makes you wonder just why RSPB are consulted on predators which are not at risk yet they can seemingly ignore completely the virtual wipe out of the Wye's swan population. not to mention the effect the FEBs are probably having on the Wye and Usk's juvenile salmon population.   Just another talking shop I suspect.
