Well we are creeping up with another fish yesterday for long time Nyth syndicate member Matt Oliver with his second fish of the season from the neck of the Cafn pool Fresh 18 pounder. That spot and the pool itself below is probably the best most productive pool on the upper river. My old boss used to say when fish actually access the upper river there is always a fish in the Cafn pool and I would agree with that. A great spot.
Dry weather looks set to continue and also warming up from tomorrow so no excuses other than there are not that many fish in the river which seems pretty obvious at the moment. About 10 fish were reported in March last season so we might reach that total yet!!!!
LATEST WUF report a big fish possibly close to 30lbs caught by Brian Skinner from Brecon spinning at Gromaine and Upper Llanstephan.
Also a report of a fish from Whitney yesterday.
