River conditions still slowly dropping away and the lower beats may fish soon.  Weather looks set fair for a few days yet.

 Couple of fish from yesterday.  Things might be looking up/   Below a fish for Ricky Reno taken on a single hook F//C from the Garnons beat   16/18 lbs perhaps?    Nice shades Ricky!!!!

A nice fish too for Alex Davies from the Sommers Foot on the Dean and Chapter beat/  94cm on a small alloy Posh tosh tube.  Another typical quality Wye springer, possibly 20lbs

Nasty gash on its flank -not the first this season to be seen carrying damage.  Estuary seals no doubt.
