Perhaps you can brighten your day by reading the latest state of the nation on the WUF website.  Yet another claimed success on a fish pass which just might put a few extra parr into the upper Lugg -Goosanders permitting.     Whilst admitting that salmon catch numbers are the worst on record there is still an optimistic note running the through the article while making some excuses for the low catch.   It was ever thus!!!
