WUFs never ending search for cash never ceases to amaze.  This is their latest venture.  Really!!!.   I just wonder where the callers are getting their telephone numbers from.  I await my call with anticipation.

From November 15th 2021 we will be running a fundraising telephone campaign.

Callers from Buffalo Fundraising Consultants will be contacting people and asking them to support the Foundation’s efforts to restore and protect the two rivers.

The callers will try to answer as many questions as they can but if you have received a call, please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions or queries about this campaign.

River conditions and visibility are improved now and there should be signs of salmon spawning soon.

Worryingly i see WUF had access to a new upper section of the Irfon and pictured a guy with a grayling up to his waist in water.  Wonder if he even knows what a salmon redd looks like/  Anyone grayling fishing should be made aware of the consequences of wading amongst spawning salmon, but there again they wouldn't want to put anyone off buying a ticket/  Some rivers stop any grayling fishing between November and late December which seems a sensible idea to me.
