Well it looks as though the rain gods have intervened to save what's left of the Wye stock at least for the middle and lower river.  A big spate in progress down the valley and still rising and with another dose forecast on Saturday that could be it for many.

Coloured hen reported from the Rectory yesterday so lets hope that one's ok though there is still a threat if levels drop of fish actually taken off the redds on the upper river and Irfon.   Leave them alone for heavens sake!!!
