Please remember it is now fly only on the Wye until the end of the season.  On the other hand anglers on the Usk can spin on until the end of the season 17th |October.   Quite what sense tht makes I have no idea.  The Usk is a bad or worse than the Wye.  There again NRW byelaws never did make a great deal of sense.

 River very low again in most areas and seemingly pretty quiet for most species, apart from canoe traffic which in some places is appalling -\Hay on Wye in particular.

However the Rectory, where else?- has produced three salmon recently apparently.  Two for James Tustin last Friday and one on Sunday/  Coloured fish 9/12lbs 

Very clean dead salmon found downriver at Cadora.   Wyesham I understand are catching the odd fish but not reporting it seems -  wonder why not.?
