I hear the rumours circulating that due to a shortage of chemicals to deal with sewage waste that water companies are being given leeway to increase the dumping of raw sewage. Does that really surpise anyone If so its a complete disgrace and disregard for the fish and the environment.
I was speaking to some a lady recently who for over 20 years was P>A to the then NRW Chairman. She agrees that back then then was much more expertise and personel involved in water management, She refered to a couple of sewage works, one in Abersoch apparently, that treated the water with ultraviolet light that seeminly killed all harmful bacteria to the extent that one of the people in charge drank some of the discharge. If thats true why are there not more of these I wonder?
Rumour going around that there are large shoals of fish in the estuary ready to run the river when rain arrives. Really?? Well it did come from a WUF employee. True or not we should end the season NOW.
