Well apologies to the Met Office we did get the rain,. At least the upper catchment did , the Irfon in particular.    It raining now and likely to do so all day so looks like the siege has been lifted and we get more normal river levels, even a decent spate perhaps.

Just hope its not a signal for a mass pre spawner bashing on the upper river in particular.  Stop and think what you might be doing to the spawning efficiency of hen fish in particular after al they have been through this summer.   Deaf ears -I suspect so!!! Shouldn't be me saying this anyway -should be NRW and WUF who still seem ashamed to update their catch records .
