Some rain around in the form of heavy showers but not really likely to change conditions greatly with another dry period next week.    I understand the green algae is less on the lower river but still somewhat brown.  Some fishing is going on down there but no catches reported.

Seems there are plans submitted to Hereford Council for yet another chicken farm,   This time at Lyonshall with an application for 300,000 broilers.  At a suggested profit of £50,000 per shed per year one can clearly see the attraction.!
