Nothing changes with the river desperately low and in the middle and lower beats just about a foor of visibility from the algea.  Seems as though a few sad souls are still plugging away for salmon though heaven only knows why.   It really ought to be closed down for the rest of the season the way things are.

Had a chat with Fay jones MP for Brecon and Radnorshire regarding the state of the Wye.   She is only too aware of it with much of her calls and correspondence taken up by it.   |We are doing all we can she said.  I I have been in touch with the Environment Agency several times she said but "they don't seem to want to do anything about it"   Pretty much confirms all we already know.

River upstream seems ok with the odd shoal of chub roaming about and the odd trout rising here and there.  Looks like we COULD get some rain tomorrow bu that's from the Met office so won't hold my breath.

Friend had a lovely double figure sewin yesterday evening from the Towy at Abercothi on a small black tube of mine..  Otherwise it was all quiet with nothing else moving and sport has been very slow recently for obvious reasons
