 Mercifully temperatures are down somewhat today but is it too late.?  Another fish found dead at Hay on Wye.  Problem is dead salmon don't 'gas up' and float to the surface but remain on the river bed.  This means many will go undetected in the deeper pools with visibility made worse by the current green algae that's pretty grim on the lower river especially

The forecast rain has not arrived in the catchment and appears unlikely to do so in any quantity and apparently they,  Met office, are predicting another heatwave in August!!!!!!!!!!!

Not only salmon farmers are a danger to our environment so are some fishermen, see below.  Not to mention the disgraceful salmon farms.

JUST BEEN INFORMED  CANOEIST GOING FROM WHITNEY BRIDGE DOWNSTREAM HAS COUNTED 8 DEAD SALMON IN THE FIRST MILE WITH ANOTHER 3 DEAD  ABOVE THE BRIDGE.   LOOKS LIKE THE 1976 DROUGHT ALL OVER AGAIN

APPARENTLY FIFTEEN DEAD SALMON HAVE BEEN SEEN BETWEEN WHITNEY TOLL BRIDGE AND THE START OF THE MOCCAS ESTATE WATER.
