No real change in conditions. Very low conditions now of course and poor visibility downriver with no real sign of any new fish.   One 16 pound fish reported on a flying C  Saturday from Lllanstephan/Llangoed apparently -where else!!

I see in the press that Ross council are considering a ban on all new housing due to the state of the river in a similar way that hereford have regarding the Lugg in particular.

Apart from that the river is increasingly a playgroud for all and sundry with wild swimming, paddle boarders, inflatable canoes etc up and down the river,  vehicle blocking gateways bank side rubbish including excrement in the bushes -not always in the bushed either.   Even someone charging £40 for a 1 1/2 hour session on wild swimming instruction.   A someone pointed out to a couple of ladies the other day if you went to your local swimming pool and it was coloured green or brown with little visibility, slime on the bottom, scum on the top, a dead sheep in one corner and a condom or two floating around not forgetting the sewage regularly deposited  would you swim in it.   No is of course is the answer but that in essence is exactly what they are doing.   No controls whatsoever regarding navigation or otherwise.

All this together with very few fish and a possibility of the worst seasons total ever we are well and truly stuffed.   I won't be going again. I prefer to remember it how it was -the likes of which we shall never see again.
