Well we did get some heavy persistent rain eventually through much of it was soaked up by the bone dry ground resulting in a rise of 2 feet or so on the upper and middle river and as you might imagine pretty dirty too. in fact the main river it's virtually nil. Be out for several days for sure and longer on lower beats when the spate really gets there.  Most tributaries carry extra water especially the Irfon.

Probably could have done with more than that but it's better than nothing and may well improve prospects assuming the fish are here or still to come.   Showers during week with more rain forecast next weekend.
