Sorry but things are getting a little repetitive now as the river contiues to drop with no rain in sight and little evidence of fish in most areas and nothing new reported so far today.

However there was a fish of 34pounds found in the Wye yesterday.  Problem is it was not a salmon but a big pike found at the Toll Bridge, Whitney.  A bog female who appeared to have died from spawning stress and the inability to shed the load of eggs she was carrying.    Further proof if any were needed of the ability to produce many quality pike throughout the river,  See below.
