Travel restrictions between England and Wales have now been lifted - not that it bothered some people apparently me included.  I went from Clyro to Sportfish - oh dear.

No further reports of fish, not entirely surprising from the upper river which is now pretty low and unlikely any fish could run up now.  No rain forecast for at least another week so although there are a few fish around Hereford below Monmouth looks the place to be. Looks like a repeat of last seasons scenario

Saw further evidence down the river regarding the damage by floods and fertiliser.   One field had debris stacked hard into it three feet up the hedge and a good 200 yds from the river.   A really strong scouring flow was obvious.  On top of that these fields are regularly doused with 'fertiliser' from Anobolic digesters which when spread looks like black tar.    fields have been doused again this spring with black puddles all over the place.    They say this fertiliser is beneficial -tell that to the Lynfi trout  -in my opinion at least.   Not to mention the topsoil loss.

Box of tubes if anyone is interested.  6 of each pattern, 36 in total.
As patterns on top of box.
Sunrays, two types of disc head Frodin type flies, cone head, Francis, Sunray etc.
