Still no catch reports and its becoming increasingly likely that our early spring run has all but collapsed and the longer it goes on the more likely it seems.  Levels are dropping off and the upper river  will soon need som more rasin which looks unlikely at the moment.  Perhaps again the fish are just late and will get trapped in the lowe river as they did last season.

For those who new just how good this river was here is a reminder..   For those who never knew it that -condolonces -i suspect we will not see the like again.

LATEST,    Just had news of a 24lb fish from Hatton's Hole, Holme Lacy.  Caught by someone I know called SEB   No further details but he usually fishes a big spoon bait.  Further details to follow'

LATER STILL   18lb fish from the Boat pool at Golden Mile today by Dave Palmer on a Monkey tube.
