Severn salmon season opens tomorrow I understand, or would were it fishable.

Not many springer's reported from other rivers so far though here is one of the first fish from Ireland, it's from Delphi.

It was killed because it's a hatchery fish but of course they don/t work do they.  Also a 7lb fish from the Dee I understand but thin on the ground at present.   Still, we live in hope.   Plenty of water on the Wye if there is anything to run that is.
