No real change though it looks as though we may get some proper rain next week as weather looks distinctly mixed to say the least.    No reports of any further fish though we are not supposed to know even if any were caught apparently.  Sad times indeed.

I reckon for most the season is more or less over and with the stock we appear to have perhaps it should be.

Another two page spread in todays Sunday Mail bemoaning the state of Britains rivers.   When will they take any notice.?

The good old days of land drainage.   Absolutely horrendous.  The time when they wanted to turn everything into a canal.  The race for water become ever more desperate as the population continues to rise and will only get worse.
