Rain overnight has bought the upper river into another moderate spate   The Irfon in particular is high and very dirty but has now peaked.   See picture below.

Suggestions that there were a lot of fish in the lower beats were confirmed yesterday with Wyesham reporting 12 fish for the day including a 21 pound fish for John Viggers and five for owner Mike Timmis   Why the sudden change of heart in reporting well who knows?
There was another fish from Redbrook to Simon McLucas 13lbs and aso a 10pound fish reported from Luggs mouth

I understand that the below picture I posted a couple of days ago is recognised as the two largest fish caught in a single day by the same person in the UK
