No further fish reported so far today.    General consensus is that there are decent numbers of fish in the river which are very reluctant to take, apart from that red letter day at Wyesham that is.   However the true picture still seems blurred   River continues to fall away slowly and continue to clear.  Fine on mid and upper beats but no fish reported from there either.   Looks like a fairly dry week after a little rain later today.

I see the Wye pollution problem was raised in the commons last week by the Lib Demleader and farmers continue to protest their innocence and feel 'scared' by the suggestion they are in someway to blame,  What a shame.
I see there is also concern at the amount of unauthorised gravel abstraction by farmers that's been going on unchecked for several years now it seem.  In many cases they are a law unto themselves.

Seems to be a proliferation of Goosanders again this year and otters are now in every waterway  however small.
