River still falling but rate of fall will now slow down and wouldn't even think about it for several more days on the upper beats, even if it does not rain again which seems unlikely.   Lower river ???????????????

Latest.  Another little upward blip in levels on the upper river and tribs after today's showers though it's unlikly to be much at present,

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Following on from yesterday's revelation re RSPB culling on the Welsh news this evening was a plea from farmers to dog owners to clean up after their pets.  Apparently some dogs can carry a parasite in their faeces that could cause cattle to abort their calves.

A Vet said that if this entered the soil in could be in the grass eaten by cows or get into a watercourse and pollute it for the cattle.    Hells bells I wonder it does as much harm as their own crap spread all over the fields and pollute everything in sight. You couldn't make it up really -could you.
