Looks like we missed most of yesterdays countrywide rain though there is a small rise on the upper river, notably the Ithon which may put some colour in again. The river is generally on the way up throughout the system however but not drastically so just yet. More water for the Usk too.

LATEST.   Well it didn't rise a great deal upriver but the Ithon did the dirty and put heavy colour into the Wye with the Lugg and other smaller tribs compounding the job for the lower river.   If you thought it might be over for the weekend -well it is now.  Sorry
