Looks like we are in for a long spell of dry cold weather with dreaded easterly winds setting in so as opening day looms it looks as though much, if not all of the river might be fishable.

First fish could come from anywhere so how about you having an educated guess as to the beat it will come from and the weight - within a 5lb margin.   Willing to give the winner half a dozen spring salmon singles.
