Reports of good numbers of kelts seen over the weekend in some areas so some fish have certainly spawned.
Then of course we have at the moment the biggest spate of the season with the river still rising in many areas.  What effect that will have on redds who knows.  There are those who deny spate washout of redds, I don't,  having seen it happen so often over the years.  Still the resident trout and coarse fish will have a binge on the washed out egg, even the barbel won't have to dig any out!!
