New slug of water on its way down with water from both Irfon and Ithon so there will be considerable colour which will put the upper river out for several days and midweek the lower river too.   The dire weather forecast for today has been downgraded from a suggestion of 4" of rain  a few days ago to a mere whisper on a passing breeze..

Two fish from Bigswier yesterday  by the syndicates guest rod, Robert.Boutflower.  He caught his first Wye salmon and indeed only  his second and third fish ever ,from the same lie on Wyeseal on a Durris Shrimp within twenty minutes of each other..
Several other fish were lost by other members during the day. Bigswier now on 155 for season.
