River levels are starting to fall now on the upper river but colour is still very poor and with further possible rain today it may be a couple of days before there can be any action.  Lower river looks out for longer with the Lugg as usual playing it's part..

No water coming from the Elan dams.  Isn.t it now we should be getting some water to help prolong the spate and help move fish to the upper beats, at least that's what I understood was to happen.  The couple of inches released recently on dead low water was a complete waste of time.   Promises , promises as usual -still be proclaimed a success though.

Off barbel fishing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don Macer Wright reports a fish from the Wyebank crib yesterday evening on fly. 12lbs slightly coloured.
