Colour was still really grim at Hay on Wye this morning but it is starting to clear reasonably well and could be OK for tomorrow.   I don't feel the river has been up long enough for many fish to reach the upper beats but we shall have to see.  the old scenario of water not reaching the bottom river until the top rivers has already fallen away. Should move a few fish from beat to beat though -catch em again!!!

By the way stay away from anywhere near Hay on Wye for the next week due to the Literary Festival.
Its a complete nightmare except for the canoe companies who are doing a roaring trade below and above the town.
