River still maintaining is slow steady fall and clearing well. Outlook regarding more water looks decidedly dodgy so today would be a good day to get out there.  Right time, right place is all it takes though fish are not very thick on the ground at present  almost anywhere at the moment.  You need to be lucky with just less than 2 fish per day over 100 miles of river.

Well a better day at last with some nice fish.

Ingeston had three 14lb Mike Pritchard, 15 for Glyn Slade and 10lb for Lyn Cobley.

Wyeside. 22lb and 14lb for Ernie Coleman   F/C

Whitney.  13lbs for Mr Sprinter on beat 1.

20lb from Spreadagle to John Watkinson.

Wyebank 15lb fish on a Willie Gunn,to Pete Simms.  This was yesterday.

Conditions still high on the bottom river enabling fish to push through, Excellent conditions elsewhere.
