Overnight rain has had little effect on the Wye and tributaries.  Black mountains and the Beacons are snowcapped so its pretty cold out there but conditions remain good and its still a great chance to get one of the superbly conditioned Wye springers some 20lb plus.  Another big fish was lost at Wyebank yesterday.  Bottom river still struggling with water height at the moment but will come good soon I suspect.

More fish today.  When you get one it's going to be a good one. Some super conditioned fish.

WUF report a fish of 27lbs on F/C from Llangoed/lower Llanstephan.  No other details.

Steve Boswell records an 18lb fish from Lower Glanwye (Lyn Em/) on a Stoats Tail.

Another nice 15lb fish from Sheepwash, from 'The Cravens'  pool to Nigel Smith on a spinner.
