Had the Sportfish catalogue come through the door the other day. From the thump it made thought is was a telephone directory.  Packed with so much -expensive - gear makes the mind boggle as to how we caught anything years ago.  how much of the gear is necessary depends on the depth of your pocket or if your a tackle tart I suppose.  We now have flies at £6.95 -must put my prices up. However the most expensive is not always the best is it.
