Another dry dull cold day again on the river but the only action so far seems to be a fish reported from Wyesham to Mike Sutton from the Oak Tree Crib on a single hook flying C.  16lbs

Canoe traffic seems to be picking up early this year, looks like being a lucrative time for commercial operators.

 Good result on the Usk where bailiffs caught a poacher on the river last year. At court recently he was convicted and fined £1,300.  That should make him think twice or he just might smarten up his act to pay the fine!
