Below are three Sunray Shadows,with different underwings -white, brown and blue. Wing tied long up to 5/6inches on plastic tubes. Good especially later mid/late season fished fast just sub surface. Often wakes up a dour fish or two.

Below that a Dee style Monkey with a slipped on conehead   Dee Monkey often fished the same as the Sunray but used conventionally as well  in a larger range of sizes.

Below that a size 5/0 Black and Silver Doctor.  Standard flies for half a century or more. Still works if you want to try them though not cheap.

Flatten the barbs if you wish to lose a few fish. . We shall soon be restricted to snipping off the point too and just fishing for the 'take'. Can't get much whiter than white than that though some might still not be satisfied!!
