The recent rise only reached Monmouth today with the river rising about a foot. Still pretty clear but floating weed was an irritation.
 However Steve Joseph took a 10lb fish from Cadora- spinning.
Rise seem to prompt nothing to take on the upper beats at all apart from one fish at Pwll-y-Faeda, a coloured cock fish to Oliver Burch.
